Q. Where does Cages Over Texas operate?

A. If you live in or around these areas: Houston, Conroe, Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston, Katy, Sugarland, Galveston, Victoria, Austin, Lake Travis, Lake LBJ, Kingsland, San Antonio, New Braunfels, Corpus Christi, and Padre Island.

Q. How can I receive a FREE Cages Over Texas Quote?

A. Contact us by phone, email, visit our website or come by our showroom. We will schedule an appointment.

Q. Why should I use Cages Over Texas?

A. Three words: Service, Quality and Dependability.

Q. What is the difference between a Cage, Sunroom or a Screened in porch?

A. A Cage is a room that has 2 or more aluminum framed wall panels with a screened ceiling/roof. A Sunroom is a room with walls and ceilings constructed of pre-engineered foam, plastic or glass walls attached to each other. A Screened in Porch is a room where screening is nailed or stapled to wooden studs or posts.

Q. Why are there no prices?

A. We feel there are too many variables with each project to present an accurate estimate of cost. Costs vary depending on size, materials, accessories, special requests, labor and fees. It's almost impossible to give you a cost without first coming out and giving, you a FREE No Obligation Quotation.

Q. Will I need financing?

A. Cages over Texas does not have financing. You will need to secure financing from a lending institution prior to the start date. A deposit will be required prior to starting.

Q. Do you offer any discounts or referral fees?

A. We offer Senior Citizen (65+) and active duty Military discounts. All you have to do is be the home owner, purchase and pay for the enclosure. Yes, we offer a "Refer a Friend" referral fee for those referrals that have an enclosure installed by Cages Over Texas.

Q. Will I need to get a Building Permit?

A. Most local building codes require a permit and the requirements are usually based on the cost, the size, and type of construction. Before construction, we will apply and secure the proper permits where required. If required, it will take somewhere around 2 to 6 weeks.

Q. I live in a development that has a Home Owners Association, does that present a problem?

A. It depends on your Home Owners Association by-laws and Architectural Committee. Some Architectural Committees will require the submission of plans and drawings. Request and approval should be requested and approval granted in writing before any construction can start.

Q. What type of return on investment can I expect?

A. Cages Over Texas cannot promise a return. The local economy dictates residential value.

Q. Do I need an existing foundation for my Cage?

A. For warranty purposes, Cages Over Texas will only construct a Cage on an approved or newly constructed foundation that meets our requirements or local requirements. Our goal is to give you a quality product you can appreciate for years.

Q. Can I put a hot tub/spa inside my enclosure?

A. Yes, let us know at the time the contract is signed. This will allow ample time for you or the spa company to have the unit available and placed inside the enclosure before completion. Any plumbing or wiring will need to be done prior to the construction of the enclosure.

Q. Will the screening prevent insects, reptiles and animals from entering the enclosed area.?

A. The screen mesh will prevent most insects from entering. Very, very small insects may be able to enter through the screen or other small openings between frame and foundation. Wasps, flies, mosquito's and other large insects will not be able to enter through the screen mesh. We also offer pet and child tough screening.

Q. What is the warranty?

A. Each finished project is warranted for one year from material failure or construction issues. The warranty does not cover weather or other acts of God, animals, fire, chemicals or abuse or misuse.

Q. Is Cages Over Texas bonded and insured?

A. Yes, where required.

Q. How long does it take to build a Cage?

A. It depends on size and number of Cages being constructed in the market. On the average, once material is delivered to the site approximately 4-5 days.

Q Can you install a doggie door?

A. Absolutely! We have sizes from small to large!

Q. Why can't you use my existing 4 inch gutter when building my pool enclosure?

A. Because there will be additional weight on the gutter and our engineering specs require us to install what we call a 7 inch Super Gutter designed just for pool enclosures.

Q. Does Cages Over Texas repair existing enclosures?

A. Yes.

Q. I live on a golf course; can an enclosure protect us from golf balls?

A. Yes, of course only the area the enclosure covers. Golf balls just bounce off.
